The Committee met yesterday and decided, that due to the ongoing financial challenges facing Community Pharmacy, the contractor levy would be remaining at the same level for another year. This is despite a 7% increase in levy that the LPC pays to CPE (which was increased substantially last year). Our LPC is the 5th largest in England with 324 contractors, and our average levy is the 7th cheapest. We will continue to increase our support to contractors, while at the same time representing value for money in these challenging times. The levy has now remained at the same level for over 10 years. |
