| Know Your Numbers! Week, a national campaign by Blood Pressure UK to raise awareness of high blood pressure – the ‘silent killer’ and leading preventable cause of death in the UK. Pop-up stalls and events offering free blood pressure checks are taking place across Oxfordshire and west Berkshire and is supported by the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (BOB ICB), raising awareness of hypertension, or high blood pressure. PQS Audit Tool2025/26 Pharmacy Quality Scheme Antimicrobial Stewardship Clinical Audit: tool now live to support participating contractors. It can be accessed via the NHSBSA Manage your service MYS portal. Anonymised data captured during the audit should be submitted to NHS England using the online data collection tool by 31 March 2026. | New NHS rules for hub and spoke dispensing were announced this week and will begin on 1 October 2025, alongside changes to the Human Medicines Regulations. These updates allow different pharmacy owners to work together using the hub and spoke model. To take part, spoke pharmacies must follow both the Human Medicines Regulations and the new NHS Terms of Service. Hub pharmacies also need to follow the regulations and may be affected by spoke pharmacies’ responsibilities. For full details, visit CPE Hub and Spoke Dispensing Update. |
