The Community Pharmacy Workforce Survey 2026 is now open. Pharmacy contractors completing the survey online have until 11.59pm on Saturday 14 November 2026 to submit their workforce data. The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) require all community pharmacy contractors to complete the survey. For help with submissions, contact the NHSBSA at: pharmacysupport@nhsbsa.nhs.uk. More information about the survey is available on NHS England's website.

Before dispensing NHS prescriptions from dentists or Community Practitioner Nurse Prescribers, check the prescriber is authorised to prescribe the item and that it falls within their formulary. CPE have provided a "Who can prescribe what?" page for guidance. Click here.

A range of resources are available, including social media graphics, newsletter content, promotional materials and information on local support services. We encourage you to share these resources within your networks to help raise awareness and encourage meaningful conversations. Important Reminder - Flu VaccinationsFor those who have not yet begun vaccinating, please check to ensure that you have completed all of the actions that you need to take to enable you to order vaccine and start delivering vaccinations. As a reminder, the service specification states: 7.10. The pharmacy contractor must administer at least 10 vaccines between 20 July and 30 September 2026 or the Commissioner may suspend supply of vaccine.

Respiratory Clinical assessment skills full day face to face workshop - 8th November, 10-5pm - CIM Business Centre, Cookham, Maidenhead, Berkshire SL6 9QHA new Clinical Respiratory Skills workshop is coming soon! This workshop is designed to help pharmacy professionals build confidence in history taking, examination skills and person centred consultations. Led by an experienced GP and supported by two CPPE Tutors, the session uses realistic clinical scenarios and a medical role play actor so participants can fully focus on consultation structure, language and clinical decision making.
