| Frimley Integrated Care Board (ICB) is funding to support community pharmacies in managing winter pressures during the peak of the 2025/26 season. This initiative focuses on respiratory health and will run from 1st December 2025 to 28th February 2026. Expressions of interest is being invited from community pharmacies who wish to deliver this vital service. Please read the attached information carefully before submitting your application. | Due to a policy change aligning NHS service fees pharmacy contractors will notice a difference in their Advance payments, with these payments higher in value than they have been previously. These payments include consultation fees for Flu (adult), Covid-19, Emergency Contraception, Hypertension Case-Finding, and the Pharmacy Contraception Service, with reimbursement for supplied items also factored into the main drug Advance payment. | Solutions 4 Health invites Oxfordshire pharmacies to express interest in delivering the Level 2 Smoking Cessation Service for Smokefree Oxon. Advisors must complete NCSCT training and attend a face-to-face Level 2 session provided by Smokefree Oxon. For payment details and training requirements, please refer to the SLA. To register interest by 19th November 2025, email smokefreeoxon.s4h@nhs.net with staff numbers, roles, availability (including weekends and bank holidays), and experience with Level 2 cessation and PharmOutcomes. |
Frimley ICB is offering full funding for a limited number of pharmacists to complete the Certificate in Advanced History Taking and Clinical Assessment. This initiative is to support the role of pharmacists in Primary Care, equip them with vital skills in patient assessment, clinical decision-making and prescribing - it aligns with services like the NHS Pharmacy First scheme. | NHS England will be hosting a webinar on 18 November at 7-8pm to update on progress of the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework: 2025 - 2026. The webinar will provide service specific information on the Pharmacy Contraception Service and the New Medicine Service expansions, and will share findings from the Independent Prescribing Pathfinder Programme. | From 24-27 November, all pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and wider pharmacy team members are invited to join a series of free online workshops. Co-produced by 16 national pharmacy partners, sessions will focus on building more diverse leadership in pharmacy, improving patient experiences and reducing health inequalities. | CPPE is running another new face to face workshop in Thames Valley, focusing on blood pressure assessment in community pharmacy on 20th Nov 2025 in Cookham (Thu evening) and 8th Feb 2026 in High Wycombe (Sun morning) These sessions will be supported by a clinical demonstrator, a pharmacist who is delivery this service in community, look forward to great interactive, hands on, practical sessions.
